FHS Teachers Vote to Turn All Remaining PC/Waiver Days Into Instructional Days

To help address parents' concerns about lost class time for students caused by the mandated furloughs, teachers voted overwhelmingly to give up the rest of their PC/Waiver Days. Those dates are Dec. 4, Jan. 5, Feb. 1 and May 3 and have been approved by the Board of Education. Students are to report to school as normal. Also, a hearty congratulations to Mrs. Teressa Shimizu, Business Education teacher, on attaining National Board Certification!  Go Govs!

Did You Know?
More than 20 million Hershey's Kisses are wrapped each day using 133 square miles of aluminum foil. Believe it or not, ALL that foil is recyclable, but not many people realize it so most of it goes to trash. When will you start recycling? The answer is now, not tomorrow. Remember – from water to land, Earth needs a helping hand.
